The popular song “Are you a tulip, are you a hyacinth” ( Lale li si, zyumbyul li si), which is part of the repertoire of the renowned folklore singer Verka Siderova has been performed by a number of musicians over the years.
The latest and certainly one of the most unusual versions of the song is to the rendition of Dimitar Atanasov and Hristo Mladenov. The song is included in their second music album “”The Best Time” which was released at the end of 2020. The duel known as Dimitar&Hristo writes author’s music which is deeply connected with Bulgaria’s folklore. The songs included in the album “The Best Time” are full of positive ideas and emotions. The two musicians recorded the song in the beautiful Bulgarian cave Saeva Dupka, which is 3 million years old. Due to the specific conditions, the recording was made only once (one-shot).
