The Bulgarian Socialist Party handed back to President Rumen Radev the third and last cabinet-forming mandate. The leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party Kornelia Ninova noted that the socialists did their best in the name of “dialogue, reason and responsibility”, but they were not supported by “Democratic Bulgaria”, “There is Such a People” and “Stand up BG! We are Coming” in their efforts to form a cabinet.

For his part, President Radev wished the socialists good luck at the next early general elections and thanked the socialist ministers and deputy ministers in the caretaker cabinet that he appointed in May.
