The second part has begun of the military exercise at the air defence range in Shabla. Three MiG-29 fighter aircraft from Serbia will be taking part in the maneuvers. The exercise will be conducted by the air defence units of the ground troops and the naval forces.

Because of the exercise, the Ministry of Defence has declared sections of the airspace and maritime space in the region of Cape Kartalborun, Cape Kaliakra and the 100-kiloemtre line from the coastline to be dangerous.

At the beginning of June, during the first Shabla exercise, a MiG-29 fighter went down in the Black Sea off Cape Shabla. The pilot was killed. The investigation is ongoing, and the aircraft’s black box is expected to be sent to Russia for deciphering.
