The order with the new restrictive measures against the spread of Covid-19 in Bulgaria will not be changed due to the protests in the country. This was announced in the parliament by the caretaker Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov. He stressed that the measures were not adopted based on specific industries, but on the basis of the risk of contracting the virus. Despite the protests, the minister called on citizens to abide by the measures.

Meanwhile, parliament has finally approved Bulgaria's donation of 50,000 doses of the Pfizer/Biontech's Covid-19 vaccine to the Republic of North Macedonia.
The ITN party has demanded that the Health Act state that "immunization against Covid-19 is recommended and is entirely voluntary."
