Bulgaria reports slight drop in new daily cases

Bulgaria has registered 1,629 new infections with coronavirus in the country for the last 24 hours. The new cases have decreased by 327 compared to the previous day. The percentage of infected people also dropped from 8.1 to 6.7% with 24,399 tests performed on Thursday, according to the National Coronavirus Information Portal.

The number of actively registered patients is 36,577 and also marks a minimal decrease. The number of hospitalized patients has increased from 4,419 to 4,500 as 378 patients are in intensive care. 
1,268 infected people were cured. During the day, 52 people with established Covid-19 have died.
11,918 vaccines were administered on Thursday. The total number of doses administered in Bulgaria are already 2,391,930. A total of 1,225,164 people have completed the full immunization cycle.
