The Minister of Regional Development Violeta Komitova has asked for the names of the companies protesting in the centre of Sofia to answer whether these companies have received their due payments. "We may have given money to the employers and they may not pay their salaries to make them protest," Komitova said.

The in-house contracts for construction companies concluded under the previous government should be changed to contracts with subcontractors. This was requested by the new chairman of the Board of Directors of the state company "Motorways" Desislava Hristova from the deputies before the parliamentary committee on budget and finance. This way, the money already given for the Hemus highway and the Botevgrad-Vidin road will not be lost, Hristova said.
