The Prosecutors' College of the Supreme Judicial Council has selected the six European delegated prosecutors from Bulgaria for the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO).
The magistrates were selected in the absence of Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev who was in parliament at the time. This is the second time the country is attempting to nominate European delegates prosecutors, after the College of the EU Public Prosecutor's Office approved just four of the ten Bulgarian nominations. The magistrates with the biggest support today will have to be approved, first, by European Chief Prosecutor Laura Kövesi, and then by the College of the EPPO.
