Pyotr Nesterov falls short of US Open Junior title by tiebreak

Pyotr Nesterov, Bulgaria, lost the doubles finals of the US Open Junior Tennis Championships in New York.

Together with his Ukrainian partner Vyacheslav Bielinski, Nesterov failed to win the crucial tiebreak against Max Westphal, France and Colemand Wong, Hong Kong, and with 3-6, 7-5, 1-10, ended his participation in the fourth Grand Slam tournament of the year as vice champion.

In the singles, he reached the round of 16, and just two months ago Nesterov qualified second in the European Junior Championships U18 in Klosters, Switzerland.
