Health Ministry instructs regional health inspectorates to refer gross violations of anti-epidemic measures to prosecutor’s office

Anti-vaccine propaganda and non-observance of the coronavirus measures are leading to results which are growing worse, the Ministry of Health states in the instructions.

That is why the health authorities are asking the state and regional administration to strengthen control of the observance of the anti-epidemic measures. Every instance of gross violation is to be sent to the district prosecutor to be determined whether a crime has been committed under Article 355 of the Penal Code, the Ministry instructions read. The media have been showing numerous instance of non-observance and outright opposition to the anti-epidemic measures. A direct consequence of this unlawful conduct is the increase in the number of Covid-19 infections and deaths, the instructions read.
