The state will be able to calm the situation through a reasonable distribution of the additional revenues it receives as a result of the high price of electricity, Konstantin Konstantinov, executive director of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange, has told BNR.

According to him, the government must find a way and help the affected businesses and people. Konstantinov added that the energy exchange was working "according to all European rules“ and that it was completely transparent and traceable. "It's a free market. We are not the people who tell sellers and buyers at what price or in what quantities to buy," he added.
