5 years ago, Boyko Borisov hid behind the skirt of Mrs. Tsetska Tsacheva. Now he is hiding behind the toga of a university rector, Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev said with regard to the news that Professor Anastas Gerdzhikov, Rector of the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, had agreed to run at the November 14 Presidential elections and that GERB party would back his candidacy.

Bulgaria’s head of state Radev commented on Anastas Gerdzhikov's candidacy during a visit to the Specialized Hospital for Post Treatment and Rehabilitation of Children with Cerebral Palsy "St. Sofia". The hospital received a donation from the "Bulgarian Christmas" charity initiative - a cutting-edge robot, which will be used for locomotor training.
