The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission has approved the price of natural gas for October in the amount of BGN 94.54 / MWh - without fees and excise tax. This equal a 36.2-percent rise. The regulator's decision states that the price of natural gas in October reflects the fact of continuing sharp rise in gas prices on international markets. At a briefing, Bulgargaz CEO Nikolay Pavlov announced that despite the rise in prices, Bulgarian consumers pay 26-30% less in comparison to prices on European markets. The price is valid until the end of the month, BNR reporter Yuliana Kornazheva informed.

In the period April to September the price of gas has already doubled, Dnevnik recalls.
