Water monitoring begins near the stranded Vera SU

An extraordinary monitoring of the water in the area of ​​the ship Vera Su standed on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast has been launched today by the Ministry of Environment and Water. Today the ship was further fortified.
The action of draining part of the vessel's fuel continues.
The Maritime Administration already has the ship's documentation, but the ship's crew has not been questioned yet, BNR Varna reported.
The ship Vera Su, travelling from Ukraine to Varna, carrying 3,300 tonnes of nitrogen fertilizer, crashed into the rocks near the Yaylata Nature Reserve north of Varna on September 20.
