13.5% coronavirus positivity rate in Bulgaria in past day

2,806 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 20,720 tests performed, data of the website coronavirus.bg show.  13.5% of the tests have returned positive result. 86.5% of the new cases of Covid-19 are among unvaccinated.

There are 45,853 active cases of Covid-19. 5,204 patients are being treated in hospital, 445 of them in intensive care units. 947 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day. 91% of the new Covid-19 hospitalizations are among unvaccinated. 178 people have died and 1,356 have been reported cured in the past day. 96% of the Covid-19 deaths are among unvaccinated.

5,386 vaccine doses were administered in Bulgaria on Monday. 1,340,793 people have completed the immunization process.
