Slight rise in Covid infections marked in past day

There have been 2,866 new coronavirus cases for a day, which is 60 cases more on a daily basis. 11.4 percent of 25,165 tests returned positive result, compared to 13.5% in the previous day, according to the website coronavirus.bg. 87.40% of the newly infected were non-vaccinated people.

The registered number of active cases has reached 47,858. There are 5,223 patients in hospital. 91.4% of newly hospitalized 686 coronavirus patients are non-vaccinated. There are 460 infected people in intensive care wards. 104 people with Covid-19 passed away yesterday. 96.15 percent of them were non-vaccinated. 2,029 people recovered.

7,412 vaccines were administered on Tuesday. There are 1,345,602 Bulgarians with full immunization.
