Frans Timmermans pays visit to Bulgaria

The European Commission’s Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans, who is in charge of the European Green Deal, is arriving on a visit to Bulgaria today.

He is to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Stefan Yanev. According to unofficial information the two will discuss Bulgaria’s recovery and resilience plan, which was adopted at a cabinet sitting yesterday.

Frans Timmermans will also take part in a conference “Green Transition: Solutions and challenges for Bulgaria” organized by the websites dir.bg and 3Еnews.
