Tourists are very interested in Bulgaria. In 2021, the number of tourists in this country is twice bigger as compared to last year. The outlook for the winter season is also better, because the flights to Great Britain and Russia will resume. Bulgaria remains competitive on the tourism market, Rumen Draganov, Director of the Institute for Analysis and Assessment in Tourism said in an interview for the BNT.

In his words, prices are expected to increase by 11%-13%. Tourists choose a preferred destination based on the price/quality ratio, contends Rumen Draganov. “Well done to Bulgaria’s caretaker cabinet, which has refrained from introducing a lockdown”, Rumen Draganov added.
