Medics protest over salaries, citizens hold rallies against new anti-Covid measures

Medics from emergency centers across the country and Covid wards protested in front of the Ministry of Health. They want a 40% salary rise and recognition of their work as the highest category in the retirement plan, as well as a fairer distribution of additional payments in the fight against Covid -19. This is what one of the organizers, Dr. Ivo Georgiev from Vidin, has told the BNR.

At the same time, a protest was organized at the same place against the introduction of green Covid certificates on October 21. Protests and rallies against the introduction of "green certificates" were also held in front of the regional health inspectorates in Varna, Burgas and Veliko Tarnovo.
