The son of Valentin Terziev, the MiG-29 pilot who was killed in June, is suing Graf Ignatievo for unpaid overtime hours.

The application was submitted by his mother Dimitrina Popova, as 12-year old Alexander is a minor. The pilot’s son is claiming compensation amounting to 70,000 Leva (35,790 euro) for 2,967 hours of overtime which are unpaid and for which no compensatory time off has been given. The appellee – Graf Ignatievo air base – has not expressed any position on the matter, BNR-Plovdiv reports.

The pilot Valentin Terziev was killed on 9 June this year during the Shabla 2021 Tactical Military Exercise.
