The two biggest trade unions in Bulgaria, the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions and Podkrepa, have demanded that Minister of Health Dr. Stoycho Katsarov repeal the requirement for medical staff at hospitals and care homes to be allowed to go to work only if they have a green Covid-19 certificate. The National Health Insurance Fund has decided to allow GPs to write prescriptions for free medication for Covid-19, Deputy Minister Dr. Alexander Zlatanov announced.
