During an online meeting, Vice President Iliana Yotova talked to information and communication technologies experts from Bulgarian communities in the world and in Bulgaria.
The participants pointed out that the country should seek added value from talent and the high potential of the people working in information and communication technologies, instead of the fruit of their labour being utilized by the outsourcing industry. The country has a lot of top-level experts in this sphere, but what is lacking are entrepreneurial skills. The participants pointed out that there is no innovations market in Bulgaria, and that is why it is useful to exchange good practices and examples.
The meeting was part of the initiative “A people shall not perish when true learning lights its days”.
