A protest entitled "No to Hate" is being held in front of the Court Palace Sofia over an attack last Saturday at an LGBT centre in the Bulgarian capital. "Fascism is not an opinion, but a crime," chanted the protesters, demanding a change in the Penal Code to criminalize attacks guided by homophobic motives, BNR reported.

Earlier today, Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev submitted a request to the Central Election Commission to lift the immunity of presidential candidate Boyan Rasate in connection with the attack on the centre for people with non-traditional sexual orientation.
