Bulgaria's health authorities call for national mobilization for vaccination

The situation is critical, we are facing a huge threat and this requires joint action. We call for cooperation and national mobilization for vaccination. This was stated by the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov at a joint press conference with healthcare and professional organizations in Bulgaria. "Today, the country recorded a dramatic number of new infections and deaths from Covid-19," the minister stressed.

The next two weeks will be critical. The crisis is not just a health crisis, but a national disaster, said the Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov. calling on society for more responsibility in the coming days.


Asena Serbezova, President of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union, said that the fear of vaccination should be fought with knowledge, as knowledge should be provided by doctors, specialists, institutions in an accessible and understandable way. We must have a plan that includes all institutions so we could overcome this fear, Serbezova added .
