The 14-day mortality rate from Covid-19 has reached a record high since the start of the epidemic in this country, with 28.5 deaths per 100,000 residents registered as of 7 November, show data of the National Centre for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.
26 out of all 28 regions of Bulgaria are in the dark-red zone for Covid-19, with over 500 cases per 100,000 residents. Smolyan and Kurdzhali have now entered the dark-red zone as well.
