The government has taken measures to ensure a fair vote: Caretaker PM Stefan Yanev

Caretaker Prime Minister Stefan Yanev stated that all measures have been taken to ensure fair elections reflecting the preferences of the Bulgarian citizens.

In PM Yanev’s words, the Central Election Commission and the executive branch have provided the organization necessary. “There is no option for a different type of machines to be used,” stressed Stefan Yanev during his participation in the discussion “The government talking, openly!” in the government’s Facebook profile.

The State E-government Agency is ready to release the serial numbers of the machines, the memory sticks and the cards so anyone can compare whether the numbers at the polling station correspond to the numbers released, Stefan Yanev explained in answer to a question about the additional voting machines, property of the company Ciela Norma, that have come to light.
