Growth in number of new coronavirus infections

276 Covid patients in Bulgaria lost their lives in the past day. 96.7% of them were non-vaccinated citizens, according to the portal coronavirus.bg.

There have been 3,223 coronavirus cases registered for a day, which is 2,395 more in comparison to Monday. 83.09% of the newly infected are non-vaccinated citizens. 10% of 32,054 tests returned positive result, compared to 5.83% a day earlier.

Currently, there are 112,107 registered patients. For the first time since the beginning of November, the number of hospitalized patients has dropped below 8,000. There are 725 patients in intensive care. Out of 1,061 patients who have recently been hospitalised, 89% are non-vaccinated. 4,067 recovered.

16,809 vaccines were administered on Monday. There are now 1,633,000 people with full immunization in Bulgaria.
