Taxi fares in Sofia to increase as of January 1 next year

As of January 1, 2022, daytime fare of taxi services in Sofia will rise from 53 Eurocents per kilometer to 91 Eurocents per kilometer. Night fares are to increase from 60 Eurocents to EUR 1.09 per kilometer. 

The decision was adopted at today’s sitting of the Sofia Municipal Council. The accumulated inflation, the forecasted inflation for 2022, as well as the price of natural gas were calculated in the new taxi fares.
