On November 26, the talks between “We Continue the Change”, the Bulgarian Socialist Party, “There is Such a People” and “Democratic Bulgaria” on the formation of a regular government with the mandate of “We Continue the Change” continue with a discussion on tourism. The Bulgarian Association of Restaurants and the Restaurant Alliance have sent letters to the political forces participating at the negotiations, calling on the future regular government to adopt urgent measures to save this sector.

They are calling on the future government to keep the 9% VAT on hotels and restaurants and provide financial compensations to the tourism sector to cover the high electricity bills. They insist that the loans be replaced by grants allotted by the Bulgarian Development Bank, not by the commercial banks.
