Another 50 people received counerfeit green certificates from the municipal hospital in Asenovgrad under the same scheme. The investigation followed a report of the health authorities in Plovdiv.

The counterfeit green certificates were sold for EUR 100 to EUR 200 and were issued with the help of intermediaries. The Economic Police has seized more than 20,000 consent forms for Covid-19 vaccination. "We are to check each consent form thoroughly in order to reveal the scale of the scheme", Prosecutor Groshev explained.
