New rules for entry into Bulgaria come into force as of 1 December. The requirement for a PCR test for arrivals from the “red zone” who have a green certificate shall be waived. A PCR test for arrivals from countries where the 14-day incidence rate is over 500 per 100,000 residents shall not be required.
If arrivals to Bulgaria come from “red zone” countries and do not have a valid EU digital Covid certificate for test, recovery or vaccination, they shall be subject to a 10-day quarantine. If the result is negative quarantine shall be waived.
