“If the organization at the schools is at hand, they can start in-presence attendance. Around 60% of all schoolchildren have indicated their willingness to be tested. The process will take 1-2 weeks and most of the students will be back in class before 25 December,” Minister of Education Nikolay Denkov said for the BNR. “The children can catch up on lost learning, but the processes of socialization the adolescents have missed out on cannot be compensated for.”
“These children have been isolated from the school environment, they will need time to adapt, and it is not a going idea to start with the testing from the first week,” Minister Denkov stated further.
