4.5% of Covid-19 tests return positive result

There have been 1,719 new Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria for a day. According to the Single Coronavirus Information Portal, 4.5% of 38,131 tests were positive. There are 5,242 people in hospital as 628 are in intensive care. There are 494 newly hospitalized patients. 84.01% of them are non-vaccinated. 77 people died in the past day as 92.21% of them were non-vaccinated, and 2,329 patients recovered.

Most of the new cases are in Sofia - 408, Plovdiv - 149, Varna - 106 and Burgas - 104.

The number of people vaccinated in the past day reached 18,222. There are already 1,835,785 people with a completed vaccination cycle in Bulgaria and 165,617 with three administered doses.
