Minister of Innovation and Growth Daniel Lorer gave the start to a project for the construction of an electric bicycles plant near Plovdiv. The joint EUR 40 million investment is between the Plovdiv bicycle maker Maxcom and the Austrian Pierer Group. The new factory will be located in the Trakia Economic Zone and will create 1,000 new jobs for Plovdiv and the surrounding area.
