NSI: Industrial production and construction indices up in November 2021

In November 2021, the industrial production index increased by 1.4% as compared to the previous month and by 13.2% compared to November 2020, data of the National Statistical Institute indicate. The turnover in retail trade also increased in November last year. 

The industrial production index in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rose by 48% year on year. The industrial production index in the mining and quarrying industry increased by 42.3% as compared to November 2020.The industrial production index in construction increased with 3.2% year on year.
