Plovdiv Airport reports an increase in the number of passengers

At the end of 2021, the number of flights served by Plovdiv Airport increased from 3 to 12 a week, the airport’s Executive Director Plamen Spasov to BNR-Plovdiv. Since November 2021, low cost carriers Wizz Air and Ryanair have been operating flights from Plovdiv to London Stansted and London Luton airports, as well as to Dortmund and Memmingen/Munich West. 

There are also charter flights to Belfast on Sunday. In December last year, Plovdiv Airport served 12,117 passengers, Plamen Spasov added.
