"There has been no clear communication strategy since the beginning of the pandemic and fear has divided people," Health Minister Asena Serbezova said at a meeting with some of the protesters against the green certificates. She said she was against compulsory vaccination. According to the minister, it is dangerous to think that the vaccine provides full protection and therefore anti-epidemic measures should be observed.

Asked when the pandemic would end, she quoted experts as saying this could be the last wave of the coronavirus, BTA reported. Tsoncho Ganev from the Vazrazhdane party called on the minister to set up a working group of various experts to come up with an opinion on whether the green certificate actually helped our society. According to him, there was no dialogue at the moment, while mathematicians were explaining medical issues in media.
