We are not planning to change the period of validity of green certificates in Bulgaria, this country’s Chief State Health Inspector Associate Professor Angel Kunchev announced.

Earlier, the European Commission adopted binding acceptance period of nine months for vaccination certificates for intra-EU travel. According to the new rules, from February 1, Covid vaccine certificates would only be valid for 270 days without a booster shot. The terms of the EU digital green certificate do not apply in Bulgaria, Angel Kunchev noted.
