Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov has met with the ambassadors of the European Union Member States. The meeting came on the initiative of HE Ambassador of France to Bulgaria, Florence Robin, whose country holds the EU Presidency, the government's press service reported.
Among the topics of discussion were the fight against corruption and the reforms in the Bulgarian judicial system, as well as tensions over Ukraine.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister pointed out that diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions must continue, but there was readiness in case of unfavorable scenarios, too.
PM Petkov also informed the diplomats about the new developments in the relations between Bulgaria and North Macedonia and acquainted them with the results of the talks, saying that he relied on the support of the European family.
