Bulgaria presented as a spa destination at Expo 2020 Dubai

The highest number of tourists coming to Bulgaria in the past two years have been from Romania, Turkey and Germany, indicate Ministry of Tourism data, presented today at a business forum dedicated to spa in Bulgaria during Expo 2020 Dubai. The event is part of the Expo’s Wellness & Spa week.

600,000 Romanians visited Bulgaria in 2020, and 800,000 in 2021, Rumen Draganov, director of the Institute for Analysis and Assessment in Tourism declared and added that Bulgaria is part of the tourist destinations with a safety and hygiene travel stamp.

The presentation of the country was called “Bulgaria: a safe and attractive tourist destination. Opportunities for spa, wellness and health tourism”. The Bulgarian hotel and restaurant digitization platform TouchMеnu was presented at the forum.
