The former director of Bulgaria's state-owned gas company Bulgargaz, Nikolay Pavlov, will appear for questioning on Monday, he himself confirmed to Nova TV.

"I was summoned as a witness in the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office. What Bulgargaz is being accused of is totally not true", he comments.
At the end of last month, the Bulgarian Energy Holding fired the entire board of directors of Bulgargaz, and the removed management described the actions as politically motivated.
Later, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov announced that there would be accusations over the high gas prices. In his opinion, the current management bears the responsibility for the jump in prices at the end of last year.
