The American company Lockheed Martin has officially confirmed that the delivery of the eight F-16 aircraft to the Bulgarian Air Force will be delayed. The first F-16 aircraft are expected to be delivered to Bulgaria in 2023. The total price of the eight F-16 fighter aircraft amounting to more than BGN 2 billion (USD 1.256 billion) was fully paid by Boyko Borisov's third cabinet.
