Bulgaria reports 3,625 new cases of Covid-19 out of 18,796 tests performed

3,625 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 18,796 tests performed, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. 76.4% of the new cases are among the unvaccinated. 19% of the tests have returned positive result.

261,909 is the number of active cases of Covid-19. 290 patients have been admitted in hospital in the past day. 86.9% of them were not immunized. 6,224 patients are being treated in hospital, as 627 of them are in intensive care units.

45 people with established coronavirus infection have died in the past 24 hours. 42 Covid-related deaths are among the unvaccinated. 4,310 people have been reported cured.

2,001 vaccines were administered on Saturday. 2,026,808 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle. 654,137 people have had a booster shot.
