Trifon Zarezan - a celebration of wine

Bulgarian wine festival Trifon Zarezan is celebrated in February. It has ancient roots and is rich in rituals.
Bulgaria has more than 60,000 ha of vineyards, which produced around 100 million litres of wine last year. In terms of the amount of wine produced, Bulgaria ranks 21st in the world.
