“Work is underway to digitize the process of submitting a tourist visa application; the stage-by-stage pilot testing of such a platform is expected to begin in the coming months. The platform will enable people arriving in Bulgaria as tourists to submit documents digitally and pay for the service online,” Deputy Foreign Minister Velislava Petrova stated at a hearing at the parliamentary tourism committee.
