"Russia is waging a full-scale war against Ukraine," Ukrainian Ambassador to Bulgaria Vitaly Moskalenko told BNR. According to him, no aggression of the dictator is the last one, that is why Europe and Bulgaria cannot be at peace. The diplomat believes Putin's long-term goal is to destroy the Ukrainian state, seize its territory by force and establish an occupation regime. "This man can hardly be stopped even from resorting to the use of nuclear weapons," added Vitaly Moskalenko.

The ambassador stressed that Ukraine hopes that the international democratic community will impose severe sanctions and isolate Russia, as well as help his country with weapons and defense equipment.

Vitaly Moskalenko made an official appeal to the Bulgarian government to provide humanitarian aid to the people and army of Ukraine.
