A nation that can dance horo in time of pandemic, cannot be defeated, say jokingly "Azbukari Association", organizer of the initiative "Awakening with Choro" on the occasion of the National Day of Bulgaria.

At 12 o'clock Bulgarian time (GMT+2) on March 3 thousands of Bulgarian expatriates are expected to join in a dance simultaneously in town squares, community centers, cultural centers, schools or simply on the street or in their homes to show that the Bulgarian spirit and traditions are alive in every part of the planet.

"Awakening with Choro" will take place for the seventh time, but for a second year in a row, due to the epidemiological situation, the dance event will be held online on Facebook and YouTube. Anyone willing to participate can join by creating an inspiring video and uploading it to the organizers' website.

"Awakening with Choro" is the living spirit of Bulgaria!" – the organizers said.
