Refugees may register with the labor offices and benefit all social rights, Maria Mincheva, Vice President of the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) told BNR. The problem is that foreigners must first obtain refugee or humanitarian status first, which may take over 3 months. Mincheva urged the authorities to consider shortening the procedure.
