Sofia Municipality will provide transport and accommodation for Ukraine evacuees, Mayor Yordanka Fandakova said.
Emergency unit teams are ready to transport people from the Ukrainian border with Romania. If necessary, additional shelter places will be made available.
"The Municipality can accommodate families with children, and elderly people who need medical care," the capital's mayor said. According to her, the teams are ready to leave at any moment at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the border.
