There will be a second round of talks between Ukraine and Russia, confirmed by Russia and Ukraine. The meeting with the delegations in the same composition is expected to take place in the Białowieża Forest on the border between Belarus and Poland. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Ukrainian authorities were ready to talk, but not to accept Russian ultimatums. He added that his country had asked NATO to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine, and the pact was already considering the request.
"Russia will offer Ukraine an agreement that will guarantee the legal rights of all peoples in the country," said Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. He referred to the Ukrainian law on indigenous peoples in the country, which does not include the Russian people. "These are things that already create a legislative basis for further Russophobic policy and not only Russophobic - against all other national minorities: Hungarians, Romanians, Poles, Bulgarians," added Sergey Lavrov.
The Russian delegation arrived in Białowieża Forest for the second round of talks with Ukraine, but the Ukrainian delegation is expected to arrive tomorrow morning.
