Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 7 March 2022

Cold weather with high chance of snow expected on Monday

The weather will remain cloudy with high chance of snowfall on Monday. In the lowlands of southern Bulgaria rain is expected. The snowfall will be more intense at night in Northeastern Bulgaria and in places in the mountainous regions, and in the afternoon in the Rila-Rhodope region. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 3 °C and 2 °C, in Sofia around minus 2 °C, and the maximum - between 2 °C and 7 °C, in Sofia around 3 °C.

Above the mountains it will be cloudy with snowfalls, more significant in the afternoon in the Rila-Rhodope region. Moderate northwesterly wind is expected. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be about minus 1 °C, at 2,000 m - about minus 7 °C.
Above the Black Sea coast it will be mostly cloudy, during the day only in some places with rain showers, in the morning in the northern regions mixed with snow. A moderate northerly wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 4-6 °C, and sea water - about 6 °C.
